DIOGELU’R AMGYLCHEDD
Rheoliadau Diogelu’r Amgylchedd (Fêps Untro) (Cymru) (Diwygio) 2025 (“Rheoliadau 2025”)
Hysbysir drwy hyn fod Gweinidogion Cymru yn bwriadu cyflwyno Rheoliadau 2025, yn unol ag adran 140 o Ddeddf Diogelu’r Amgylchedd 1990, i ddiwygio Rheoliadau Diogelu’r Amgylchedd (Fêps Untro) (Cymru) 2024 (“Rheoliadau 2024”), a fydd yn dod i rym ar 1 Mehefin 2025.
Mae Rheoliadau 2025, a fydd yn dod i rym ar 19 Mehefin 2025, yn cyflwyno darpariaeth i Reoliadau 2024, sy’n grymuso rheoleiddwyr i gadw fêps untro yr ymafaelir ynddynt (neu rannau ohonynt) at ddibenion cydymffurfio ag unrhyw gyfarwyddyd a roddir gan Weinidogion Cymru o dan Reoliad 12 Rheoliadau 2024.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (SINGLE-USE VAPES) (WALES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2025 (“THE 2025 REGULATIONS”)
Notice is hereby given that the Welsh Ministers intend to introduce the 2025 Regulations, in accordance with section 140 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, to amend the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) (Wales) Regulations 2024 (the “2024 Regulations”), which will come into force on 1 June 2025.
The 2025 Regulations, which will come into force on 19 June 2025, introduce a provision to the 2024 Regulations, which empowers regulators to retain seized singleuse vapes (or their components) for the purposes of complying with any direction given by the Welsh Ministers under Regulation 12 of the 2024 Regulations.

Alternatively, a hard copy can be requested free of charge from the Environmental Protection Team, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ.
Any person may make representations on the draft regulation in writing.
