Public Notice given under Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972

Notice of intention to grant a lease of open space land

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the London Borough of Brent (“the Council”) intends to dispose of part of an area of public open space being land at King Edward VII Park Depot, Park Lane, Wembley, London, HA9 7RX by way of a lease disposal for a term of years from and including 01 April 2023 up to and including 31st March 2031. The area which is proposed to be demised under the lease comprises approximately 965 square meters of open space.

Copy of a plan showing the approximate position of the affected land may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours from Monday to Friday at Brent Civic Centre Engineers Way Wembley, Middlesex HA9 0FJ (save for bank holidays).

By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to grant the lease of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal.

Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to PAM@brent.gov.uk no later than 12PM on 22nd May 2025.

The grounds for any objection should be stated.
