NOTICE OF MAKING OF MODIFICATION ORDERS
SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY FOR OXFORDSHIRE

Alvescot Footpaths Nos. 1 & 3 (parts) Modification Order 2025
The above Order made on the 9 April 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them a public footpath from:
“from the existing western end of Footpath No. 1 at SP 2699 0481, running west for 18 metres to SP 2687 0481, and then south-south-west for 26 metres to Main Road at SP 2683 0478.”
And from Footpath No. 1 at OS grid reference SP 2697 0481, running north-north-east for 118 metres to the existing southern end of Footpath No. 3 at SP 2701 0492 to close the gap between the two and an explanatory statement.

Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire
Harwell Byway Open to All Traffic No. 16 Modification Order 2025
The above Order made on the 9 April 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Statement for the area by:
“adding to Byway Open to All Traffic No. 16 (Harwell) the following: “Track No. 16 is 6.94m (30ft) wide, as shown on the Inclosure Award.”

Middleton Stoney Footpath No. 5 Modification Order 2025
The above Order made on the 30 April 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:
“Adding to them the public footpath from School Lane at OS grid reference SP 5236 2362 running east-south-east for 96m to SP 5236 2364; southeast for 152m to SP 5239 2351 and south-south-east for 35m to SP 5309 2349.”

Any representation or objection relating to any of the orders must be sent in writing to Countryside Access Legal, Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, Oxford OX1 1ND, or countrysideaccesslegal@oxfordshire.gov.uk not later than 20 June 2025 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to an order or if any so made are withdrawn, the Oxfordshire County Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
