What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

ATTLEBOROUGH ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic 20 metres either side of the bridge.

Reason for Order: Structural examination of the railway bridge, overnight 22.00hrs-06.00hrs. 

Order Commences: 10 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 11 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Attleborough Road, Highfield Road, Garrett Street, Avenue Road, Coventry Road, Coton Road, Vicarage Street, Church Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Centurion TM, Tel: 01132 775 360.


HILARY ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable sluice valve repack.

Order Commences: 10 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 11 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Hilary Road, Ennell Road, Arrow Road, Tuttle Hill, Midland Road, Manor Court Road, Beaumont Road, Vernons Lane, Black-a-tree Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM BUCKS HILL TO TRAFFORD DRIVE, NUNEATON

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable gas mains replacement works.

Order Commences: 12 May 2025 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 16 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Green Lane, Birch Tree Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Headway TM Ltd, Tel: 01214 744 344.


PUBLIC FOOTWAY/SUBWAY OASTON ROAD TO WHEAT STREET, NUNEATON

Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable electrical mains works.

Order Commences: 12 May 2025 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Wheat Street, Regent Street, Leicester Road, Trent Road, Oaston Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

BIRMINGHAM ROAD, ANSLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for long comm pipe installation.

Order Commences: 27 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, Ansley Road, Astley Lane, Park Lane, Nuneaton Road, Berryfields, Tamworth Road, Station Hill and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.


D1454 GIPSY LANE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from both its junctions with Bulkington Lane to its junction with Purcell Avenue.

Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.

Order Commences: 27 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 16 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: B4112 Bulkington Lane, B4114 Lutterworth Road, Leyland Road, Marston Lane, Gipsy Lane and vice versa.

DUGDALE STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Prince Street to Riversley Road.

Reason for Order: To enable works for abandonment and replacement of gas mains.

Order Commences: 27 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 16 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Princes Street, Edward Street, Riversley Road.

Contractor: Sapphire Utility Solutions, Tel: 08000 086 590.


WESTBURY ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Arbury Road to Cambridge Drive. 

Reason for Order: To enable works on water network.

Order Commences: 27 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 29 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Westbury Road, Haunchwood Road, Kingswood Road, Church Road, Arbury Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
