DAVY NORTH & DAVY EAST SUBSEA INSTALLATION DECOMMISSIONING PROGRAMMES

Perenco UK Limited has submitted, for the consideration of the Secretary of State for the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, draft Decommissioning Programmes for the Davy North & Davy East Subsea Installations, in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1998. It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be consulted on such decommissioning proposals. The items/facilities covered by the Decommissioning Programmes of Davy North and Davy East Subsea Installations.

These subsea installations are part of Perenco’s operations, located in the Southern Basin of the UKCS approximately 100km offshore from the Bacton Gas Terminal (BGT). Davy North is in licence block 49/30A (licence number P84), and Davy East is in licence block 53/5B (licence number P787). Their WGS84 co-ordinates are:

• Davy North: 53° 05’ 01.1986” North, 02° 49’ 04.6587” East.

• Davy East: 52° 58’ 57.4501” North, 02° 56’ 21.1768” East.

The Davy North subsea well is connected to Davy via pipeline (PL1871) and associated umbilical PLU1872 (comprising of PLU1872/1, PLU1872/2, PLU1872/1(J)NWB & PLU1872/2(J)DWN), and then tied into a 6-inch manifold flexible riser system. The Davy East subsea well is connected to the Davy platform via pipeline (PL2434) and umbilical (PLU2345), then tied into the 8” riser manifold. Their gas is routed from the Davy platform to the Indefatigable A1T and Leman B1 platforms before it arrives at the BGT on the Norfolk coast.

Davy North and Davy East sit in 36.27m and 41.15m water depth respectively, within the boundaries of the Southern North Sea Special Area of Conservation which features the Annex II species Harbour porpoise.

Perenco UK Limited hereby gives notice that a digital copy of the draft Davy North & Davy East Subsea Installation Decommissioning Programmes can be viewed and downloaded online at https://www.perenco.com/documentation. Alternatively, a hard copy of the Decommissioning Programme can be inspected at the location given below during office hours.

Representations regarding the Davy North & Davy East Subsea Installation Decommissioning Programmes should be submitted in writing or electronically to the following address, where they should be received by the closing date 28th May 2025 and should state the grounds upon which any representations are being made.
