SECTION 123(2A) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED)

Notice of intended disposal of Open Space

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of the above act that Harlow Council is proposing to dispose of a leasehold and/or a management interest of land at Church Langley Playing Field, Off Minton Lane, Harlow, Essex, CM17 9PB.

A site plan showing the parcel of land to be disposed by way of a leasehold and/or a management interest edged in red may be inspected during normal office hours at Civic Centre, The Water Gardens, College Square, Harlow CM20 1WG and is available at: https://www.harlow.gov.uk/your-council/have-your-say/public-notices.

The parcel of land to be disposed is currently used as community space, playing fields, tennis courts and an informal multi-use games area. The site will remain a community, sporting and recreational facility, with the disposal being made in order to facilitate ongoing management of the site and the construction of a new sports pavilion (shown indicatively on the site plan) predominantly on the informal multi-use games area.
