What is happening?

(U111N CRAIGS ROAD (EAST) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U111n at Jennygill, Craigs Road East, Georgetown, Dumfries from 8am on 29/04/25 to 7pm on 06/05/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water repairs. Alternative route available via Barnkin Loaning, Bankend Road, Nithbank, Craigs Road, Craigs Road East and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Written comments may be made to Head of Economy and Development by email to Planning@dumgal.gov.uk or via the Council’s website, as noted above, by 02/05/2025 (Type A).
