LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123 (1), (2A)

DISPOSAL OF ONE PARCEL OF LAND TO THE REAR OF PRESTWICH HEYS FOOTBALL CLUB, SANDGATE ROAD, M45 6NT

Pursuant to section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, The Metropolitan Borough of Bury hereby gives notice of its intention to dispose of land via redevelopment covering a total area of approximately 72.25 m² at the leisure land behind Peveril Close and Parrenthorn Road. A copy of the plan showing the position of the land in question is available by writing to Alexandra Hinchly, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury, BL9 0EJ or preferably by email from property@bury.gov.uk.

This is a formal notice given insofar as the above-described parcel of land consists or forms part of an open space for the purposes of section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Further information or objections regarding the above should be made in writing and addressed to G Gallagher, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury, BL9 0EJ or preferably by email from property@bury.gov.uk to be received no later than 15th May 2025.

Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
