What is happening?
Kinver Edge Heathland Restoration Environmental Statement
The National Trust has submitted an application to the Forestry Commission for consent to fell 19.4ha of conifer woodland whilst retaining 15% tree cover to restore a mosaic of predominantly open lowland heath with patchy tree and shrub cover at Kinver Edge and Blakeshall Common EIA-2019-0073 NGR SO830819.
This is a requirement of the Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) (England) Regulations 1999.

Hard copies of the document can be received at cost price by contacting the National Trust or by viewing a copy kept in Kinver Library during opening hours free of charge for 30 days after this notice.

The Forestry Commissioners may decide either to grant consent subject to the standard conditions required by Regulation 18 of the EIA Regulations, or subject to such further conditions as they see fit or refuse consent.
