NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER

(Footpath along Clarence Avenue from Keith Avenue to Liverpool Road in Great Sankey)

Public Path Creation Order 2025

The above named Order made on 8 April 2025, under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, if confirmed as made, will create a public footpath along Clarence Avenue in the parish of Great Sankey, in the borough of Warrington, running from a point on Keith Avenue at NGR 35594 38867 in a south-south-westerly direction along Clarence Avenue, for a total distance of approximately 39 metres to its junction with Liverpool Road at NGR 35593 38864, as indicated by a bold broken line between points A & B on the Order map. A copy of the Order & the Order map may be seen free of charge at Contact Warrington, 1 Time Square, Warrington, WA1 2NT, between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order & Order Map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

Any representations or objections to the order must be sent in writing to the Director of Highways & Transportation, Warrington Borough Council, East Annexe, Town Hall, Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1UH not later than 8 May 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, Warrington Borough Council instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
