Invitations for expression of interest in becoming a member of the Local Access Forum

As required under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and National Assembly for Wales Regulations 2001, Pembrokeshire County Council and the National Park Authority are appointing members to serve on the Local Access Forum in its eighth term.

The statutory function of the Forum will be to advise the local authorities, Natural Resources Wales and others as to the improvement of public access to land in Pembrokeshire for the purpose of open air recreation and enjoyment.

The Forum will meet four times a year for a term of three years. It is important that members can commit to attend all meetings as deputies are not permitted. These are unpaid positions but Forum members will be able to claim reasonable travel expenses.

Expression of interest for membership should be made in writing to the Forum Secretary by 7th May 2025.

Fel sy’n ofynnol o dan y Ddeddf Cefn Gwlad a Thramwy Cyhoeddus 2000 a Rheoliadau Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru 2001, mae Cyngor Sir Penfro ac Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol yn penodi aelodau i wasanaethu ar y Fforwm Mynediad Lleol yn ei wythfed tymor.

Swyddogaeth statudol y Fforwm fydd cynghori’r awdurdodau lleol, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru ac eraill hamsafathrebu gwella mynediad cyhoeddus i dir yn Sir Benfro ar gyfer hamdden awyr agored a mwynhad.

Bydd y Fforwm yn cwrdd pedair gwaith y flwyddyn am dymor o dair blynedd. Mae’n bwysig fod aelodau yn gallu ymrwymo i fynychu pob cyfarfod gan na chaniateir i neb ddirprwy’o yn eu lle. Mae’r rhain yn swyddi di-dâl ond bydd modd i aelodau’r Fforwm hawlio costau teithio rhesymol.
