What is happening?
Hackney Carriage Fare Tariff Consultation
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, that Uttlesford District Council commence a public consultation into the below proposed variation to the Hackney Carriage Vehicle fare tariff.
Existing Rate 1 - £4.80 / Proposed Rate 1 - £5.40
(7.00am to 22.30pm Monday to Saturday)
Existing Rate 2 (up to 4 passengers) - £6.00 / Proposed Rate 2 - £6.75
Existing Rate 2 (5-8 passengers) - £6.80 / Proposed Rate 2 - £7.65
(22.30pm to 7.00am, Monday to Saturday, Midnight Saturday to 7.00am Monday, Public Holidays)
Existing Rate 3 (up to 4 passengers) - £8.00 / Proposed Rate 3 - £9.00
Existing Rate 3 (5-8 passengers) - £8.00 / Proposed Rate 3 - £9.00
(6.00am Christmas Eve to Midnight Boxing Day, 18.00pm New Year's Eve to Midnight New Year's Day)
Existing Rate 4 (5-8 passengers) - £10.00 / Proposed Rate 4 - £11.25
(06.00am Christmas Eve to Midnight Boxing Day, 18.00pm New Year's Eve to Midnight New Year's Day)
Existing Waiting Time - £30 per hour / Proposed Waiting Time - £34 per hour
