NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE LAND
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(2A)
LAND AND PAVILION FORMERLY BUSHFIELD
COMMUNITY SCHOOL PLAYING FIELD LAND, BUSHFIELD,
ORTON GOLDHAY, PETERBOROUGH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Peterborough City Council (Council) intends to grant a 35 year lease to Parkside Hub CIC of land which is described in the Schedule to this Notice and shown shaded red, together with a right of way over the land shaded brown, on the plan (Plan) referred to below.

The proposed use of the land is for community playing fields and sports pitches for football and outdoor sports and recreation with ancillary pavilion and club house facilities and community hub.

The Plan of the affected Land may be inspected at Orton Library, Bushfield, Peterborough, PE2 5RQ during its opening hours, at the reception of the Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough, PE1 1HF Monday to Friday during the hours of 9am to 5pm or may be viewed on the Council’s website at https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/environment/ bushfield-playing-fields-plans.

A copying charge may be payable if copies are required.

Any person who objects to the proposed lease should set out their objection in writing and send it to the Director of Legal and Governance and Monitoring Officer at Peterborough City Council, Sand Martin House, Bittern Way, Fletton Quays, Peterborough, PE2 8TY or by email to legal.property@peterborough.gov.uk.

Any such objection must be received no later than close of business on 9th May 2025 and should quote reference: JM/113513.
