DOWNLOAD THE NOTICE (pdf format) SHOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE

The London Borough of Bromley has decided to sell the Churchill Theatre and Central Library site following a decision to invest in a brand new library on Bromley’s High Street which will serve the needs of the community more effectively. With no statutory services remaining at the existing site, the sale will allow a third party to invest in its future and ensure its sustainability. The Theatre will remain in situ following the sale.

In accordance with the requirements of the Settlement’s charitable Scheme, the proceeds of the sale will be held for the purpose of acquiring land for the purposes specified in Section 2 of the Technical and Industrial Institutions Act 1892.

Any member of the public wishing to make representations on the proposed disposal to the Trustee is invited to do so by 5pm on 28th April 2025.
