What is happening?
NOTICE OF APPROPRIATION OF LAND INCLUDING OPEN SPACE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with s232(1) and (4) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the County Council of Durham (the "Council') intends to appropriate:
16.2 acres or thereabouts of undeveloped land within NETPark, Sedgefield south of Burdon Place
This will enable the Council to enter into an Option Agreement with East Durham Community Athletics Track for the grant of a lease of the Land. A plan identifying the Land may be inspected at the offices of Corporate Property and Land, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL. Any representations or objections to the proposals should be made in writing to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services at the address below or by emailing highways.orders@durham.gov.uk before the 14th April 2025 and should state the grounds for objection.
