NOTICE OF AMOUNTS OF COUNCIL TAX FOR THE YEAR COMMENCING 1 APRIL 2025

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with a resolution passed at a meeting held on 25 February 2025, the Council of the Borough of Broxbourne has, in accordance with Section 30(2) of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, set the following amounts of council tax for each category of dwelling:

LEVEL OF DISCRETIONARY DISCOUNTS SET BY THE COUNCIL ON 1 APRIL 2025

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with a resolution passed at a meeting held on 18 December 2012, the Council of the Borough of Broxbourne has, in accordance with Sections 11A and 11B of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, set the following discounts for council tax:

Second homes Nil
Vacant dwellings that
are uninhabitable
Nil
Vacant dwellings that are empty and
unfurnished
100%
for up to one month
Long term empty dwellings
as defined in Section 11B of
the 1992 Act
Nil

LEVEL OF EMPTY HOMES PREMIUM SET BY THE COUNCIL ON 1 APRIL 2025

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with a resolution passed at a meeting held on 25 February 2020, the Council of the Borough of Broxbourne has, in accordance with the Local Government Finance Act 1992, set that homes that have been left empty for a period of two years or more be charged a premium of 100% of the prevailing council tax.
