Notice of Application for a Sex Establishment Licence

I/We Crownville UK LTD of 312 London Road, Westcliff-On-Sea, Southend SS0 7JJ on the 11th of March 2025 hereby make application for a Sex Shop Licence in respect of Harmony, 312 London Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, Southend SS0 7JJ.

Details of the proposed application are as follows:

Sex Shop Licence for Harmony Adult Store, opening hours Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm, selling R18 DVDs, magazines, lingerie, and marital aids.

Interested parties and the Police may make representations to the Licensing Authority (Southend-on-Sea Borough Council). All such representations shall be made in writing, by 11th April 2025.

Objections should be sent to the Licensing Authority, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 6ZG, or by email at licact2003@southend.gov.uk.

A record of the application and the statutory register of the Licensing Authority may be inspected at the Council’s office address given above, between 10.00 and 16.00 on Mondays to Fridays, or on the Council website www.southend.gov.uk.

It is an offence to make a false statement in connection with an application, and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is level 5 on the standard scale.
