COUNCIL TAX 2025/2026
LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE ACT 1992: SECTION 30
Notice is hereby given that in accordance with Section 30 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, Reading Borough Council, at its meeting on 25 February 2025, set the following amounts of Council Tax for the financial year commencing on 1 April 2025.
In each case the amount includes an element for the precepts issued to the Council by the Police Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley Police, the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and a precept to help fund adult social care.

If you do not pay your instalments by the due date on your bill, you may lose the right to pay by instalments and the full balance will become due immediately.
