Public Notice given under Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972

Disposal of land by way of a lease at Northwick Park forming part of Public Open Space

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the London Borough of Brent (“the Council”) intends to dispose of an area of public open space being land at Northwick Park by way of a lease disposal. The area which is proposed to be disposed of comprises approximately 28.25 square meters of open space as shown edged red on the plan.

Copies of a plan showing the approximate position of the land may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 0FJ (save for bank holidays) or can be requested via email at amin.soorma@brent.gov.uk.

By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal.

Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to Amin Soorma at amin.soorma@brent.gov.uk no later than 12 pm on 20th March 2025. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
