Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Epsom & Ewell, pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, has made and approved the following figures as the amounts to be charged as Council Tax for the year commencing 1st April 2025 and ending 31st March 2026 for each of the categories of dwelling shown below:

In accordance with the provisions of section 11B of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, notice is hereby given that Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, as the Billing Authority, did on the 31 January 2019, vary the determination to charge a higher amount of council tax (premium) in respect of long-term empty properties to charge:

With effect from 1 April 2019:

A 100% premium on unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for two or more years as at 1 April 2019

With effect from 1 April 2020:

A 200% premium on unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for five or more years as at 1 April 2020

With effect from 1 April 2021:

A 300% premium on unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for ten or more years as at 1 April 2021
