What is happening?

NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF
PAVILION NO 3, PURLEY WAY, CROYDON, CR0 4RQ
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the London Borough of Croydon ("the Council") intends to dispose of an area of public open space being land at Pavilion No 3, Purley Way, Croydon, CR0 4RQ, by way of a freehold disposal.
The area which is proposed to be sold comprises approximately 1,008 square meters of public open space land.
Copies of a plan showing the approximate position of the affected land may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA and can also be viewed on the council website at www.croydon.gov.uk
By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal. Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to Ololade Lawal, Interim Head of Property Services at estates.assets@croydon.gov.uk no later than 12 noon on 28th March 2025. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
