What is happening?

BARNSLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

SECTION 123(1), (2A)
PROPOSED EASEMENT OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
Notice is given that Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to grant an easement for the purpose of sewer connection works on land owned by the Trustees of the Mapplewell Miners Welfare Scheme at Mapplewell Park, Blacker Road, Mapplewell, Barnsley, S75 6BY (“the Land”).

Copies of the plan showing the land intended to be included in the disposal may be seen during normal office hours at Barnsley Central Library, 1 The Glass Works, Barnsley S70 1GW.

Any objection to the proposed sale must be made in writing to Matthew Newton at Regeneration and Culture, Westgate Plaza One, PO Box 603, Barnsley, S70 9FD before 21st March 2025 and should fully state the grounds of the objection.
