What is happening?

ROCHDALE BOROUGH COUNCIL
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(1), (2A)

LAND AT: (1) Stoneyfield Park, Osborne Street, Rochdale, (2) Milnrow Memorial Park, Newhey Road, Newhey, Rochdale and (3) South Street Recreation Ground, South Street, Rochdale.

Notice is given that Rochdale Borough Council intends to dispose by way of 10 year leases the following land as set out below:- 
(1) Stoneyfield Park (site area approximately 267m2)
(2) Milnrow Memorial Park (site area approximately 1,197 m2)
(3) South Street Recreation Ground (site area approximately 461 m2)
all of which consist of open space land to Rochdale AFC Football in the Community Trust for use as a sports pitch.

Plans showing the open spaces to be leased may be viewed on the Council’s website: https://consultations.rochdale.gov.uk/councilwide/ legalnotices/

Objections to the intended disposals by way of lease must be made in writing and addressed to:

Quoting Reference Playzones by no later than Wednesday 19th February 2025
