What does the applicant want to do?
The applicant has applied for a new bespoke environmental permit application to regulate the discharge of concentrated seawater (or concentrated saline effluent) and effluent from desalination plant treatment processes. The discharge will also contain treated water from maintenance activities undertaken to parts of the plant’s supporting infrastructure.
