Proposed Change of Status of Millais School, Horsham,From an All-Girls’ School to A Co-Educational School for Boys and Girls

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 (as amended) that WSCC proposes to change the status of Millais Secondary School, Depot Road, Horsham, West Sussex RH13 5HR, from September 2026.

The proposed alteration is to change the status of Millais Secondary School from an all-girls’ school to a co-educational school for boys and girls. The school has 10 forms of entry (300 places) per year of age and serves 11 - 16-year-olds. The current net capacity is 1593. The number of pupils registered at the school was 1052 in the autumn school census 2024. The current published admission number (PAN) is 300.
