NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER

SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

COUNTY OF DEVON DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT

DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL

(FOOTPATH No. 84, CHARDSTOCK)

DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that on 17 December 2024, with no representation or objection having been received, Devon County Council confirmed the above Order as unopposed. The effect of the Order as Confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding Footpath No. 84, Chardstock from Footpath No.24, Chardstock at point A on plan CCET/PROW/24/27 (GR ST 3074,0514) eastwards along Stockstyle Lane, passing point B (ST 3080,0515) and continuing to join the County Road No. X505 near Stockstyle Farm at point C (ST 3088,0514). The length of the path to be added is approximately 130 metres. Copies of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the offices of: Devon County Council Offices, Great Moor House, Sowton, Exeter EX2 7NL.

A copy of the Order and the Order map can also be sent to you by post free of charge by contacting prow@devon.gov.uk The Order took effect on the date it was Confirmed. An application for any of the reasons stated in Paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act may be made to the High Court to quash this Order within 42 days of the date of publication of this notice.
