What is happening?

ADVERTISEMENT RELATING TO THE DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE KNOWN AS 1 King Square, London EC1V 8DA BY THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON under SECTION 123 (2A) LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Islington intends to dispose of land at 1 King Square, London EC1V 8DA to be used for any purpose in connection with the gas industry pursuant to the provisions of the Gas Act 1986 (as amended by the Gas Act 1995 and the Utilities Act 2000) by way of a Lease for a period of 20 years. A drawing showing the location of the land to be disposed may be inspected at London Borough of Islington 222 Upper Street London N1 1XR from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Any objections to the intended disposal should be made in writing, addressed to: The Director of Law & Governance (Ref: EK), London Borough of Islington, Law & Governance, Resources Directorate 3rd Floor, 222 Upper Street London N1 1XR to be received by no later than 11.59 pm on 31 January 2025.
