Public Notice given under Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972
Notice of intention to grant a lease of open space land
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the London Borough of Brent (“the Council”) intends to dispose of an area of public open space being land at Part of Woodcock Park, Shaftesbury Avenue, Kenton, Harrow, HA3 0RD, by way of a lease disposal for a term of 4 years. The area which is proposed to be demised under the lease comprises approximately 2,500 square meters of open space.
Copy of a plan showing the approximate position of the affected land may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours Monday to Friday at Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 0FJ (save for bank holidays).
By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to grant the lease of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal.
Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to Neil Martin at neil.martin@brent.gov.uk no later than 12PM on 16th January 2025.
The grounds for any objection should be stated.
