What is happening?

The Bournemouth-Swanage Motor Road & Ferry Company Proposed revision of toll charges - PUBLIC INQUIRY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Local Inquiry to be held by an Inspector appointed for the purpose by the Secretary of State for Transport in connection with the application made by the Bournemouth-Swanage Motor Road & Ferry Company pursuant to section 6 of the Transport Charges &c. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1954 to revise the tolls taken for the use of the ferry and road on 10th December 2024 has been postponed.

The Inquiry will now be held at the North Lounge at Poole Harbour, 20 New Quay Road, Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset BH15 4AF commencing at 10 am on Tuesday 21 January 2025. The Inquiry will also sit in the new venue on Wednesday 22, Thursday 23, Friday 24, Tuesday 28, and Wednesday 29 January 2025. The event will be livestreamed.

The Inquiry will also sit on the evening of Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at Springfield Country Hotel, Grange Road Wareham Dorset BH20 5AL, commencing at 6.30 pm.
