What is happening?
Commercial River Craft fees
Canterbury City Council intends, in accordance with the provisions of the
Public Health Acts (Amendment) Act 1907, to vary the existing table of fees
for the Commercial River Craft licenced in the Canterbury City Council District
with effect from 1 April 2025 as follows:
Operator licence | £1,261.03 |
Operator licence renewal | £325.17 |
Boat licence (per boat) | £325.17 |
Crew licence (per person) | £52.12 |
Canoes, Kayaks (fee per vessel) | £26.06 |
Transfer of boat licence | £130.30 |
Variation | £378.42 |
Application to amend the licensing conditions (e.g. add or change moorings or request additional commercial river craft) |
£389.75 |
A copy of this notice has been deposited at the offices of the council at
14 Rose Lane, Canterbury and may be inspected free of charge during the
hours of 10am and 2pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
Any objections to the proposed variation to the table of fees should be made
in writing or by e-mail to the undersigned at the address below by Monday
6 January 2025.
