What is happening?

ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENTION NOT TO PREPARE AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT (Regulation 5 of the Environmental Impact Assessment (Land Drainage Improvement Works) Regulations 1999 as amended by SI 2005/1399 and SI 2006/618
Devon Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Lower Risk Debris Screens Programme – East Devon – Broadclyst and Honiton
The Environment Agency gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to debris screens at the following sites.
Watercourse: Clyst 1 site, located in Broadclyst, East Devon. (NGR SX99109769)
Watercourse: Otter 1 site, located in Littletown, Honiton, East Devon. (NGRs ST1667300363)
The proposed improvement works involve construction works required to improve the operability of the debris screens in these locations.
The Environment Agency considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. Designs can be obtained by contacting the named project manager below at the Environment Agency.
Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address specified below, within 30 days of the date of publication of this notice.
