Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water
Waitrose Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 33/212 which authorises the abstraction of water from inland water known as a tributary of the River Test at Leckford, Stockbridge, Hampshire at National Grid References (NGRs) SU 36115 36894 and SU 37590 38544.
The variation applied for is to increase the maximum annual quantity of water to be abstracted at NGR SU 36115 36894 from 1,986,768 cubic metres per year to 12,369,996 cubic metres per year. Maximum hourly and daily quantities will remain unchanged.
