PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL DIVERSION OF WR-892, (FORMERLY FOOTPATH No 101), IN THE PARISH OF WORCESTER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
The above Order, made on 10th October 2024, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath, and modify the definitive map and statement for Worcestershire accordingly:
Footpath WR-892 running from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference OSGR 8748 5410 in a SE direction for 144 m to (OSGR) SO 8756 5398 to a footpath running from OSGR 8748 5410 with a width of 3 m, in an ESE direction for 2 m to OSGR 8748 5410. From here, the path proceeds in a SE direction for 140 m to OSGR 8756 5399 and then continues in a S direction for 8 m to OSGR SO 8757 5398 and its junction with Spetchley Road. As shown on the order plan.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Mapping Manager, Public Rights of Way Mapping Team, The Countryside Centre, Worcester Woods Country Park, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2LG or countryside@worcestershire.gov.uk. not later than 15th November 2024: Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
