THE FORMER MID GLAMORGAN COUNTY COUNCIL
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT BOROUGH OF MERTHYR TYDFIL VAYNOR 34 DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
The above Order made on 16th September 2024, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to the particulars relating to the footpath from SO04510963 to SO03720762 by providing that the footpath commences at commences at grid reference SO04510963 and proceeds in a general south-south-westerly direction for approximately 50 metres to a gate at grid reference SO04470962. It then proceeds in a general westerly direction for approximately 80 metres to grid reference SO04400961. It then proceeds in a general north-westerly direction for approximately 50 metres to grid reference SO04360962. It then proceeds in a general south-westerly direction for approximately 65 metres to grid reference SO04340957. It then proceeds in a general south-south-easterly direction for approximately 130 metres to grid reference SO04380945.
It then proceeds in a general south-south-westerly direction for approximately 580 metres to grid reference SO03980907. It then proceeds in a general southerly direction for approximately 470 metres to grid reference SO03900863. It then proceeds in a general south-westerly direction for approximately 730 metres to grid reference SO03370819. It then proceeds in a general south-south-easterly direction for approximately 710 metres to its termination point, grid reference SO03720762. The approximate length of the path is 2,866 metres. The surface of the path is predominantly natural. A copy of the order and the order map may be seen by contacting ROF@ merthyr.gov.uk. Copies of the order and map may be bought at the price of £10. Any representation or objection to the Order must be sent in writing to the undersigned by 28th November 2024, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the National Assembly for Wales may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the National Assembly for Wales, any representations or objections which have been withdrawn will be sent with it.

Bydd y Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed ar 16 Medi 2024, pe cadarnheir ei wneud, yn addasu map a datganiad diffiniol yr ardal trwy ychwanegu atynt lwybr troed yn dechrau yn SO04510963 i SO03720762 drwy ddarparu fod y llwybr troed yn dechrau ar gyfeirnod grid SO04510963 ac yn parhau i gyfeiriad de-de-orllewinol am oddeutu 50 metr i gât yng nghyfeirnod grid SO04470962. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad gorllewinol am oddeutu 80 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO04400961. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad gogledd-orllewinol am oddeutu 50 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO04360962. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad de-orllewinol am oddeutu 65 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO04340957. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad de-deddwyreiniol am oddeutu 130 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO04380945.
Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad de-de-orllewinol am oddeutu 580 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO03980907. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad deheuol am oddeutu 470 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO03900863. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad de-orllewinol am oddeutu 730 metr i gyfeirnod grid SO03370819. Bydd yna’n parhau i gyfeiriad de-de-ddwyreiniol am oddeutu 710 metr ac yn terfynnu yng nghyfeirnod grid SO03720762.
Mae hyd y llwybr oddeutu 2,866 metr. Mae arwyneb y llwybr, ar y cyfan yn naturiol.

Os na cheir unrhyw sylwadau neu wrthwynebiad i’r Gorchymyn, neu unrhyw ran ohono, neu os tynnir unrhyw sylw neu wrthwynebiad yn ôl, bydd Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Merthyr Tudful yn cadarnhau’r Gorchymyn yn hytrach na’i gyflwyno i Gynulliad Cymru. Os bydd y Gorchymyn yn cael ei gyflwyno i Gynulliad Cymru, bydd unrhyw sylwadau neu wrthwynebiad a dynnwyd yn ôl yn cael eu hanfon hefyd.
