Hysbysiad o fwriad i beidio â pharatoi datganiad amgylcheddol • Rheoliad 12B Rheoliadau Asesu o'r Effaith Amgylcheddol (Gwaith Gwella Draenio Tir) SI1999/1783 fel y'i diwygiwyd
Mae Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru yn rhoi rhybudd ei fod yn bwriadu cynnal gwaith adfer Draen Sandycroft a Draen Gogledd Pentra yn Sandycroft, Sir y Fflint rhwng Glendale Avenue (Cyfeirnod Grid Cenedlaethol SJ 32850 67992) a Stryd Phoenix (Cyfeirnod Grid Cenedlaethol SJ 32850 67922), pellter o 1 cilometr: bydd y gwaith gwella draenio yn cynnwys y canlynol:
- Tynnu malurion, silt a gwaddod, ac unrhyw beth arall a fydd yn rhwystro llif yr afon er mwyn helpu i reoli perygl lifogydd.
- Gwaith rheoli llystyfiant a choed i hwyluso'r gwaith uchod.
- Cynnal arolygon (felu cyfryng neu fel arall) o ardal Draen Pentre i benderfynu ar ei gyflwr strwythurol.
Mae Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru o’r farn nad yw’r gwaith yn debygol o gael effaith sylweddol ar yr amgylchedd ac nid yw’n bwriadu paratoi datganiad amgylcheddol ar ei gyfer. Mae Cynllun Gwella Effaith Amgylcheddol (EAP) wedi’i gynhyrchu ar gyfer y safle hwn, sy’n crynhoi’r camau gweithredu sydd eu hangen er mwyn lliniaru unrhyw effaith arwaith, ac mae i’w gael ar gais drwy’r manylion cyswllt isod.
Dylai unrhyw un sydd yn dymuno cyflwyno sylwadau ynglyn â’r effeithiau amgylcheddol tebygol a gwaith gwella draenio arfaethedig, yn ysgrifenedig, at a hadnoni ti gyfeiriad isod i, erbyn 30 diwrnod o ddyddiad cyhoeddi’r hysbysiad hwn.

SANDYCROFT & PENTRE DRAIN REMEDIATION WORKS
Announcement of intention not to prepare an environmental statement - Regulation 12B of the Environmental Impact Assessment (Land Drainage Improvement Works) SI1999/1783 as amended
Natural Resources Wales gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works on Sandycroft Drain and Pentre Drain North in Sandycroft, Flintshire, between Glendale Avenue (NGR SJ3285067992) and Phoenix Street (NGR SJ3285067192), a distance of 1 kilometre. The proposed improvement works will involve the following:
- Removal of debris, silt and sediment deposits, and any other obstructions to flow within the watercourse to improve flows and help manage flood risk.
- Vegetation and tree management works to facilitate access to undertake the above operations.
- Undertake survey (CCTV or otherwise) of Pentre Drain culvert to determine its structural condition.
Natural Resources Wales considers that the works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. An Environmental Action Plan (EAP) has been produced for this site, summarising actions required to implement the environmental mitigation, and is available upon request from the contact details below.
Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address specified below, within 30 days of the date of publication of this notice.
