What is happening?
NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
BRIDLEWAY 67 REETH, FREMINGTON AND HEALAUGH (20.75/67) DIVERSION ORDER 2024
On 17 September 2024 the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the section of public bridleway at Cleasby that runs from point A (grid reference NZ 0006 0013) in a south easterly direction to join Bridleway 20.75/30 at Point B (SE 0049 9985) (total length 517 metres), so as to run, instead, from point A in an east south easterly direction to join Bridleway 20.75/30 at Point C (SE 0045 9996) (total length 428 metres) as shown on the order map. All distances stated are approximate.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map can be viewed free of charge and until 9 November 2024, at the National Park Office Yoredale, Bainbridge during normal office hours, or on our website using the following link www.yorkshiredales.org.uk/path-orders. The order comes into force on the date of confirmation of this order, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 27 September 2024, make an application to the High Court.
