THE TAMAR BRIDGE AND TORPOINT FERRY JOINT COMMITTEE
Proposed revision of toll charges - PUBLIC INQUIRY

Notice is hereby given that a Public Local Inquiry will be held by an Inspector appointed for the purpose by the Secretary of State for Transport in connection with the application made by the operator of the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry pursuant to section 6 of the Transport Charges &c. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1954 to revise the tolls taken for the use of the bridge and ferry.

The Inquiry will be held at the Meavy Suite, Copthorne Hotel, Armada Way, Plymouth PL1 1AR, commencing at 10.00am on Tuesday 15 October 2024 and running for up to three subsequent days.

A copy of the application and additional evidence can be inspected at the Tamar Bridge Office or the Torpoint Ferry Office during normal working hours, and it can also be accessed on the Joint Committee’s website at www. tamarcrossings.org.uk.
