DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE LAND -

Land North of High Sparrowmire, Kendal, Cumbria

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Westmorland and Furness Council intends to dispose of open space, by way of transfer to South Lakes Housing, being amenity open space.

A copy of the plan showing the extent of the open space to be sold (edged red) can be obtained by email request to nicola.cassidy@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk or inspected at South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal LA9 4DQ during its office hours. This is a formal notice in so far as the land described above forms part of open space for the purposes of section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Any objections to the proposed disposal should be sent in writing to Nicola Cassidy at the address below or nicola.cassidy@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk to be received no later than noon on 3 October 2024.
