CITY AND COUNTY OF SWANSEA

National Grid Electricity Distribution (South Wales) has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Cefn Bryn Common, Llanrhidian, Swansea.

The proposed works are to dismantle existing a 33kV overhead line, to be replaced with 33kV underground cable. 
The works will be located in the common land between Llanrhidian and Cilibion, Swansea, SA3 1ED.

A copy of the application form and associated maps can be inspected at North Road Service Station, Cilibion, Gower, Swansea. SA3 1EB Mon-Fri between the hours of 0800- 17.30 Thursday 24th October 2024 or by writing to Carol Hodgkinson, National Grid Electricity Distribution, Glan Y Tawe, Millbrook Drive, Swansea Vale, Swansea SA7 0AB or via email at chodgkinson@nationalgrid.co.uk or by telephone on 01792 784425 weekdays between 0830-1630 until Wednesday Thursday 24th October 2024.

Any objections or representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to Planning & Environment Decisions Wales at Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ or PEDW.Casework@gov.wales.

Letters sent to Planning & Environment Decisions Wales cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
