What is happening?

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP & STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDERS 2024
SECTION 119 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
SECTION 53A(2) WILDLIFE & COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
FOOTPATH 573016 AND FOOTPATHS 573017, 573018 AND 573019,
FIELD END FARM, STAVELEY-IN-CARTMEL PARISH
The above orders made or 3 September 2024 will divert footpaths at Field End Farm, Staveley-in-Cartmel, as shown on the order plans. Namely:
• Footpath 573016 between SD 3726 8421 and SD 3725 8420 through a wicket gate slightly to the northwest.
• Footpath 573017 between SD 3725 8376 and SD 3739 8375 to a new route south of the farm buildings between SD 3729 8366 and SD 3739 8375.
• Footpath 573018 from a wetland area between SD 3732 8377 and SD 3737 8405 to a new, drier, route to the east between SD 3739 8375 and SD 3743 8400.
• Footpath 573019 between SD 3740 8402 and SD 3743 8400 to the used trod between the same two points via SD 3743 8400.
A copy of the orders and plan may be seen during office hours at Customer Services, Westmorland and Furness Council, South Lakeland House, Lowther Street, Kendal, LA9 4DQ, at the Lake District National Park Authority, Wayfaring House, Murley Moss, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL and at Greenodd Post Office, Main Street, Greenodd, Ulverston, LA12 7RB. You

Any representations about, or objections to, the orders should be sent in writing to Rights of
Way at the above (LDNPA) address or to will.hinchliffe@lakedistrict.gov.uk; to arrive no
later than 10 October 2024.
If we receive none, or if all received are withdrawn, we may confirm an unopposed order. If an order is submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation we will include any outstanding representations and objections.
