"NORWICH CITY COUNCIL LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

NOTICE CALLING THE FIRST COUNCIL MEETING IN PURSUANCE of the provisions of Section 239 of the Local Government Act 1972

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of Norwich City Council ('the Council') will be held at City Hall on 15 October 2024 to authorise (if thought fit) the promotion in the Session of Parliament 2024-2025 of a Bill:

1. to make provision for the relocation of Norwich Livestock Market; and

2. to enact such ancillary, incidental and consequential provisions as may be necessary or convenient for the above purposes, and such other purposes as may be determined by the Council and also for the purpose (if deemed expedient to promote such a Bill) of passing such resolutions as may be necessary or expedient in connection with the promotion of such Bill.
