NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACES TWO AREAS OF LAND AT MILFORD WAY, BLAENYMAES, ONE AT BLAENYMAES DRIVE, BLAENYMAES AND ONE AT PARK ROAD, CLYDACH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) that the Council of the City and County of Swansea (‘the Council’) intends to dispose of four areas of land consisting of public open space two of which are situated at Milford Way, Blaenymaes, one at Blaenymaes Drive, Blaenymaes and the other at Park Road, Clydach, as more particularly described in the Schedule.

Plans showing the areas intended to be disposed of are available for inspection on the Council’s website at www.swansea.gov.uk/publicnotices or may be inspected during normal office hours in the foyer of the offices of the Council at the Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road, Swansea, SA1 3SN.

Any objections to the intended disposals must be made in writing to the Chief Legal Officer at the Civic Centre, Swansea quoting reference number DGC-00276894/KAO and specifying to which area of land the objection relates, no later than the close of business on the 27th August 2024.

Area Description
Site 1 Land on the north side of Milford Way, Blaenymaes, lying between Nant y Felin and Canaston Court
Site 2 Land to the west of Milford Way, Blaenymaes, lying opposite the entrances of Cwrt Trefor and
Heol Tegeirian
Site 3 Land on the corner of Blaenymaes Drive and Broughton Avenue, Blaenymaes
Site 4 Land to the rear of Scout Hall, Park Road, Clydach
