What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

MARRIAGE ACT 1994 AND THE MARRIAGES AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS (APPROVED PREMISES) REGULATIONS 2005

Suffolk County Council has received an application from the Superintendent Registrar for The Town Hall, Old Market Place, Sudbury, Suffolk CO10 1TL to be approved as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages in pursuance of Section 26 (1) (bb) of the Marriage Act 1949, and the registration of civil partnerships in pursuance of section 6 (3A) (a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.

Copies of the application and plans showing the proposed premises have been deposited and may be inspected free of charge at the offices of Suffolk County Council, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX between 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday. Further copies of these documents have also been deposited at The Registration Office, The Town Hall, Old Market Place, Sudbury CO10 1TL, and may be inspected, by appointment, between 9.30am - 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Any representation or objection with respect to this application may be sent in writing to Jane Parker, Head of Registration Services, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich. Suffolk IP1 2BX or to venuelicensingfflsuffolk.gov.uk before 23/08/2024 stating the grounds on which itis made.
