What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF LAND DESIGNATED AS OPEN SPACE IN ACCORDANCE S.123(2A) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

Open Space: Land at Waterloo Street, Kingston Upon Hull, HU2 9AY

Disposal By: Kingston upon Hull City Council (the Council)

Change of Use to: Erection of new animal hospital following the demolition of existing, including use of allocated open space to be incorporated into the application site, new parking areas and provision of new vehicular access from Waterloo Street.

Notice is hereby given that Kingston upon Hull City Council, exercising its powers under s123(2A) Local Government Act 1972, intends to dispose of LAND WEST OF WATERLOO STREET, KINGSTON UPON HULL shown edged in red on the plan below.

During the 2 week consultation period commencing from 29 July 2024, members of the public are invited to make comments or objections to the disposal and these should be sent to the address below, quoting the reference specified below. Those who wish to respond to the proposed disposal can inspect a full-sized plan at the Council’s offices upon request and should provide their written responses by no later than 12 August 2024.

Objections to the proposed disposal should be sent to: Kingston upon Hull City Council, Commercial & Property Team, Legal Services, 3rd Floor, Guildhall, Alfred Gelder Street, Kingston upon Hull, HU1 2AA and marked with reference IKEN/170806/WaterlooSt.

The Council will consider all responses received by the specified date in accordance with the requirements of this notice.
