Notice of application for a full licence to abstract (take) water
Sharp Skips Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Chalk (borehole) at Sharp Skips Limited, Unit 6, Albright Industrial Estate, Ferry Lane, Rainham, RM13 9BU at National Grid Reference TQ 51696 81959.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 1.8 cubic metres an hour
- 40 cubic metres a day
- 14,640 cubic metres a year
- All year.
The water will be used for general or process washing. Further details are: The proposed abstraction lies within the Roding, Beam and Ingrebourne Abstraction Licensing Strategy reporting area.
