Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water
Ashkin Mittal has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 11/42/18.17.1/565 which authorises the abstraction of water from a pond on the River Blackwater at National Grid Reference (NGR) SU 248 200 in Landford, Salisbury.
The variation applied for is to abstract directly from the River Blackwater at NGR SU 25142 19912 and increase the hourly abstraction rate to 29 cubic metres, the daily rate to 290 cubic metres, and the instantaneous rate to 8.0 litres per second. There will be no change to the annual quantity currently licenced of 6,819 cubic metres.
