LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123 (1) (2A) LAND AT FIFTH AVENUE, HARLOW, ESSEX
NOTICE OF PROPOSED DEDICATION OF LAND AS HIGHWAY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Harlow District Council Intends to dedicate a small section of public open space to the east of the A1019 (Fifth Avenue/Zelenskyy Avenue) south of footpath 65, Harlow as a new carriageway and footway.
It Is proposed that the carriageway and footway will be constructed by Essex County Council as part of a larger highways scheme to Improve the existing highway network between the Town Station Roundabout and Harlow Town Centre.
The route of the carriageway and footway and the location and the extent of the proposed temporary working space necessary to construct the cycleway and footpath are shown on a plan which can be Inspected online at https://www.harlow.gov.uk/your-councll/have-your-say/public-notlces and on Harlow Council's Public Notice Board at the Civic Centre, Water Gardens, Harlow, Essex CM20 1WG during normal office hours (excepting Bank Holidays) and copies may be obtained on payment of Harlow Council's copying charges.
The temporary working space would be reinstated following completion of the carriageway and footpath construction works.
Any enquiries or comments about, or objections to, the intended carriageway and footway and temporary working space must be made in writing and addressed to Julie Galvin, Legal Services Manager, Harlow District Council, The Civic Centre, The Water Gardens, Harlow, Essex CM20 1WG by no later than 12.00 p.m. on 25 July 2024.
