What is happening?

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
CF FERTILISERS UK LIMITED PENSION SCHEME (“the Scheme”)

The Scheme was established, and is currently governed, by a Definitive Trust Deed and Rules dated 20 December 2007 (as amended).

This notice concerns you if you are an employee or former employee of CF Fertilisers UK Limited (or Growhow UK Limited) or if you are a widow, widower, civil partner, child, dependant, or other beneficiary of a deceased member and you believe that you are entitled to benefits under the Scheme.

Please note that there are other pension schemes related to these companies and this notice only concerns the scheme named above.

Members’ assets in the Scheme were transferred to an alternative Master trust arrangement on 31 October 2023 and the Scheme is currently being wound up.

We, the Trustees of the Scheme, must now establish the entitlements of any other actual or potential beneficiaries so that we can arrange for the Scheme to be closed down completely.

We have already taken steps to contact all of our known members and bene ficiaries. If you have not yet been contacted and you believe that you are entitled to benefits, please contact us at the following postal address or by email specifying your full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance Number and details of your membership (or if you are a widow, widower, civil partner, child, dependant or other beneficiary of a deceased member, the membership or employment details of the deceased member).

After 14 August 2024, the Trustees will proceed to wind up the Scheme and distribute any remaining assets and shall not be liable to any person in respect of any claim, interest or entitlement he or she may have in relation to the Scheme but of which the Trustees have not been notified.
