What is happening?

SPM PLASTICS PENSION SCHEME (the Scheme)

Notice is hereby given under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Trustees of the SPM Plastics Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) are winding up the Scheme.

The Trustees of the Scheme wish to trace all former members and their beneficiaries,who are entitled to benefits under the Scheme and any persons, who were employed by SPM Plastics Limited (now trading as UPG), and were members of the Scheme and have not been informed of the wind-up.

Anyone who believes that they have any interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Scheme but has not already been contacted by the Trustees about the winding-up,should write and provide details of their membership, interest, claim or entitlement to the Trustees of the Scheme c/o the Scheme Administrators of the SPM Plastics Pension Scheme, Quantum Advisory, Cypress House, Pascal Close, St Mellons, Cardiff, CF3 0LW or email spm@Qallp.co.uk.

When contacting theTrustees please provide full name, any former names by which you have been known, date of birth and National Insurance number.

Details must be sent within two months of the date of the publication of this notice.After the expiry of the two-month period,the Scheme shall be wound up and theTrustees of the Scheme will distribute the remaining assets of the Scheme as part of the wind-up. In doing so,theTrustees will have regard only to claims of which they have prior written notice and will not be liable in respect of any person whose claim has not been notified to them in writing within two months of the date of publication of this notice.
