NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 26
CORNWALL COUNCIL
The Cornwall Council (Praa Sands, Breage) Public Path Creation Order 2024

The above order made on 13 February 2024, under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 will create a length of Public Footpath commencing from a point where it has a junction with Public Highway C0097 to be retained approximately 127 metres east-north-east of “Tregarth” at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SW 58185/28860 and continuing in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of 62 metres to a junction of Public Footpath 201/41/1 to be retained approximately 94 metres north-east of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 58135/28897, and;

Create a length of Public Footpath commencing from a point where it has a junction with Public Footpath 201/41/1 to be retained approximately 94 metres north-east of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 58135/28897 and continuing in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of 242 metres to a junction of Public Footpath 201/42/1 to be retained approximately 147 metres west-south-west of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 57921/28792, and;

Create a length of Public Footpath commencing from a point where it has a junction with Public Footpath 201/42/1 to be retained approximately 147 metres west-southwest of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 57921/28792 and continuing in a generally southsouth- easterly direction for a distance of 101 metres to a junction of Public Footpath 201/42/1 to be retained approximately 169 metres south-south-west of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 57958/28704, and;

Create a length of Public Footpath commencing from a point where it has a junction with Public Footpath 201/41/1 and Public Footpath 201/42/1 to be retained approximately 177 metres south-south-west of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 57969/28688 and continuing in a generally southerly direction for a distance of 38 metres to a junction of Public Footpath 201/41/1 to be retained approximately 208 metres south-south-west of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 57970/28651, and;

Create a length of Public Footpath commencing from a point where it has a junction with Public Footpath 201/41/1 to be retained approximately 69 metres south-east of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 58045/28771 and continuing in a generally north-northeasterly direction for a distance of 118 metres to a junction of a Public Footpath to be created approximately 47 metres north-east of “Tregarth” at OSGR SW 58084/28879.

A copy of the Order and the Order Maps have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at Helston Library and Information Service Trengrouse Way Helston TR13 8AG from 09.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday, Wednesday Friday and Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00pm. Copies of the Order & Maps may be bought there, at the price of £5.00. A copy of the Order and Order maps may also be viewed at the Offices of Cornwall Council at New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY on 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Monday to Friday (Bank Holidays excepted).

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent in writing to the Countryside Rights of Way Interim Team Leader, Cornwall Council, PO BOX 676, Threemilestone, Cornwall, TR1 9EQ (quoting Reference HAC 033 Creation Order) not later than 21 April 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Cornwall Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
